Feeling better; feeling frantic

It’s been a while on the blog-posting front.  So many things have been happenin’ ’round here.

Cora has been home and feeling well for a week and a half now.  We’re really enjoying her and we’re continually grateful for God’s blessing on her and us.  We can’t adequately thank those of you who prayed for and encouraged us.

It looks like our house is going to sell.  The inspections have gone well so far and if the appraisal and final inspection check out, this puppy is sold.  We’re still discussing/wondering about where to move.  We have four locations in mind, and they have absolutely nothing in common.  This is a crazy feeling.

The school year is winding down for me.  We’ll finish in four weeks.  Until then, my students are (among other things) writing essays, finishing Romeo and Juliet, reading Julius Caesar, taking end-of-the-year tests, and doing novel presentations.

Most importantly (and I’m only partially joking), church league slow pitch softball begins next week.  I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.

I’ll try to be working on some more substantive posts and avoid ancillary quotes and random thoughts, but no guarantees.  Peace out.
