The first post I wrote about Khrista was through tears. This one is with dry eyes, and a joyful heart. Our God is SO good and gracious!
I got to visit Khrista, Jeff, Sophie, and family (and friends) in the hospital today. It was such a blessing. Everyone I talked to was full of thanksgiving, and giving all the glory to God. The hospital staff even admits that her healing has been nothing short of miraculous. They expect her to have a full recovery!
Khrista’s dad told me, "We thought we were going to be planning a funeral this week." but instead, they are planning for Khrista to come home.
She was looking good, beautiful as always, and talking with her visitors. She had been up walking around before I got there. And, she is not even hooked up to any wires. Amazing!
I know that a lot of people have been praying for Khrista and her family. The prayers were (and are being) answered!
Khrista is hopeful that she will get to go home tomorrow or Wednesday.
I think this calls for an early Thanksgiving!
Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me!
O Lord, be my helper!”
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have loosed my sackcloth
And clothed me with gladness,
That my glory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
