“Mommy, today I pray you will have Joy.”

I’ve been following a new blog. One of the resources it has is a calendar with specific ways to pray for my children every day. I’ve written it on my planner, so I’ll see it; and I tell them what I’m praying for them each day.

Today what I’m praying for the kids is “Justice.” I told Malaki this, and then I thought for a minute and followed with, “I’m not really sure what that specifically means.” So I was doing some quick research while he stood beside me, then he said, “Mommy, today I pray that you will have joy.

Which is exactly what I needed this morning, of course.

So, today I’m thankful that the Holy Spirit intercedes and prays for me when I don’t even know what I need.  And I’m thankful that sometimes he does it through my son.
